It is likely to note that Ghana is one of the most religious countries in the world, having two or three churches every 5 km of land, one would expect it to groom more law-abiding citizens in the least. This is not the case however since crime has been at an all time high and gross indiscipline is getting out of hand.

This is could be attributed to the change is reason why people go to church. Unlike times where people would go to church to secure their eternity in heaven, news motives that have sprung include meeting potential spouse, healing of an ailment, financial breakthroughs among many others.

Consequently, going to church has become competitive and is more about who wore it best, who owns the most expensive gadget or car. This cancer has made it to the minds of the preachers who no longer preach the good word but are interested in making profits from the church business.
