Ridley Scott, Hugh Jackman’s ‘Treasure Island’ Setting Sail to Sony

Ridley Scott and Hugh Jackman are taking their Treasure Island movie to Sony, which is in talks to acquire the package from the duo.

Scott will direct from a script by Jack Thorne, with Jackman starring in the feature based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1883 novel. The classic book told the story of a boy, Jim Hawkins, who sets sail to a remote island after discovering a treasure map.
